Originally formed in the early 1900’s and competing in the Great Western Combination League. Little is known of Chalvey’s early years, but they had some degree of success. In 1947, the Chalvey Charity Cup was formed as an annual competition involving such teams as QPR, Charlton and Slough Town. In the 1950’s Chalvey won the Slough Hospital Rose Bowl by beating Slough Town 4-3 at the old Dolphin Stadium. They also won the Slough Town cup in 1955/56 and the reserves won the junior cup the following season. In 1970/71 the Maidenhead Norfolkians Senior cup was won. They were an original member of the Slough & District League.

Derek Macklin reformed the club in the early eighties after a short break and again played in the Slough & District League until its demise and then joined the East Berks League. They won the championship in 1992/93 & 1996/97 & runners up in 94/95.

In recent years Chalvey have been a very good cup side and have won the league cup in 1995/96 & 2001/02 and runners up in 1999/00 & 2002/03.The club have also won the Maidenhead Norfolkian Senior cup in 1998/99 and added the Ascot & Fielden cup in 2003/04.They were also runners up in the Slough Town Senior cup in 1999/00 and 2005/05.
